The forgotten reservoir atop Keppel Hill was rediscovered by NHB (National Heritage Board) and announced to the world on Sep 17th via major media outlets and caused much fascination among Singapore’s population. Dating back almost 100 years to 1905, the small reservoir, about one-third the size of an olympic swimming pool, used to be one of three small reservoirs to serve the Tanjong Pagar docks in historical times. It disappeared off the maps and was last recorded on a 1924 map by the Singapore Harbour Board.

The well hidden reservoir is located in a densely forested area off Telok Blangah Road and lies at the foot of Mount Faber. The V360Property team took up the challenge and spent some time locating the isolated reservoir and was there to film the shots for the Virtual Tour.

An abandoned reservoir that dates back to 1905 has been uncovered by the National Heritage Board (NHB).

Located off Telok Blangah Road and near Mount Faber, it was part of the Tanjong Pagar Dock but is not demarcated in the modern maps of Singapore.
